The football field at Les Masies de Voltregà (Barcelona) was in urgent need of an upgrade to its lighting system, as the old floodlights lacked sufficient power and failed to provide uniform light distribution, making visibility difficult during training sessions and evening matches. The solution came with the installation of APOLO L projectors, a high-performance luminaire specifically designed for sports facilities.

The field is equipped with six lighting poles: three on each of the longer sides of the pitch. On the four poles located at the corners, three projectors have been installed per pole, while the central poles feature two projectors each. Thanks to its range of optics and power levels — from 500W to 1500W — the APOLO L perfectly adapts to the field's requirements, ensuring uniform and glare-free illumination. It also includes DALI control and a centralized watertight connection box, making both installation and system management easier.
