The Jardines de la Huerta de San Bertran have inaugurated the new Robinia park, an accessible, natural, and sustainable space designed for everyone's enjoyment.

The transformation of the Jardines de la Huerta de San Bertran, in Barcelona’s Poble-sec neighborhood, has been completed. This February, the Robinia park was inaugurated, designed for the enjoyment of the entire community.

The space features a set of ‘Mikado’ Robinia logs, perfect for improving balance and motor skills in young children. Additionally, it includes a modular play structure with a slide, a hammock for relaxation, and trampolines that add an extra touch of fun. On one of the platforms in the park, there is a custom ROY balance set, ideal for improving coordination, and a nest swing.

Designed as an open and people-centered environment, the park invites children to play and explore in a safe and natural setting, while adults can relax and enjoy the green surroundings.

The existing Mediterranean vegetation, consisting of pines and holm oaks, has been preserved and enhanced with new trees such as cypresses, camellias, and flowering pear trees, along with renewed shrub and herbaceous vegetation.

This intervention reaffirms the commitment to sustainable and accessible urban planning, promoting coexistence and well-being in the neighborhood and the city.
