Javier Mariscal is a designer, illustrator and multidisciplinary artist internationally recognised for a creative career spanning disciplines such as graphic design, illustration, animation, product design, interior design and urban landscape. His work is characterised by a unique, spontaneous and universal visual language, where drawing, humour and emotion become essential elements of every project.

Throughout his career, he has developed internationally iconic projects, including the creation of the mascot for the Barcelona 92 Olympic Games, the complete design of spaces and hotels, illustrations for publications such as The New Yorker and El País, and the animated film Chico & Rita alongside Fernando Trueba, winner of a Goya Award and nominated for the Oscars. His ability to bring creativity and personality to any medium has established him as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Spanish design.

Among his collaborations with BENITO is the design of the spring swing collection, pieces conceived to transform play into a creative and emotional experience. Through simple, expressive and easily recognisable forms, his designs bring colour, imagination and a unique visual language to children’s public spaces.
