Maurici Ginés is a lighting designer and founder of Artec Studio, an independent studio specialised in the design of lighting experiences and internationally recognised for its innovative and emotional approach to light. Founded in Barcelona in 1998, the studio develops projects in architectural lighting, natural light, product design and artistic installations, creating solutions capable of transforming the perception of spaces and people’s relationship with their environment.

With offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Mexico City and New York, Artec Studio has developed more than one thousand projects across cultural, residential, corporate, commercial, urban and landscape fields. Their work is characterised by a contemporary vision where technology, sensitivity and sustainability combine to generate meaningful lighting experiences capable of conveying knowledge, emotion and wellbeing.

Among his collaborations with BENITO is the design of the Avant luminaire, a proposal conceived to integrate efficiency, visual comfort and a contemporary aesthetic within urban space, strengthening the relationship between lighting, architecture and urban experience.
