Mario Eskenazi is a graphic designer and architect internationally recognised for a career defined by conceptual clarity, visual synthesis and the communicative strength of his projects. Trained in architecture in Córdoba (Argentina), he began his professional activity in graphic design before moving to Europe in 1971, later settling in Barcelona, where he consolidated much of his professional career.

Throughout his career, he has developed corporate identity, editorial design and visual communication projects for major institutions and companies, including Banco Sabadell and Ediciones Paidós. His work is characterised by a sober, functional and timeless language capable of transforming visual communication into an essential and recognisable tool. In 2000, he received the National Design Award, establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in contemporary graphic design.

Among his collaborations with BENITO are the redesign of the brand identity and the development of the Op Art concept applied to utility covers and manhole covers, projects where graphic design, visual perception and urban space integrate to bring identity and aesthetic value to functional elements of the city.
